Stacey Eisenberg, a senior care expert and owner of A Place At Home - North Austin, has taken a significant step in the local fight against Alzheimer's disease by joining the 2024 Alzheimer's Association: Capital of Texas Chapter Committee for the Williamson County Walk to End Alzheimer's. Her appointment highlights her dedication as a dementia advocate, driven by personal experiences of the disease's impact on families.
'I wanted to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's Committee as a personal mission to make a real difference in the lives of those touched by this disease,' Eisenberg shared. Her involvement goes beyond the committee; she will also serve as a Community Educator, offering workshops, seminars, and support groups to empower and educate the community. Eisenberg's efforts aim to unite individuals in understanding, caring for, and pursuing a cure for Alzheimer's and other dementias.
The Alzheimer's Association Capital of Texas Chapter and A Place At Home - North Austin are pivotal in mobilizing community support and resources towards these educational initiatives and the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Eisenberg's role underscores the importance of collective action in the battle against Alzheimer's, a disease that affects millions worldwide.
