Dying Inside Nonprofit Expands Services for Survivors with New Website and Funding

Dying Inside Nonprofit, a survivor-led organization, has taken significant steps forward in its mission to support survivors of human trafficking and youth aging out of foster care. With the launch of a new website and the successful raising of over $7,000 in May, the organization is expanding its reach and services. These developments are crucial for providing survivors with the resources they need for long-term recovery and empowerment.

The new website serves as a vital resource, offering access to a directory of professionals who provide trauma-informed services. This includes therapists, case managers, legal support, and wellness practitioners, all dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by survivors. The creation of the website was a collaborative effort, with Rose Campbell, the founder of Dying Inside Nonprofit, acknowledging the significant contribution of Sharon from Lumínosa Creative, who volunteered her skills to bring this project to life.

The financial contributions received in May, including support from Flyga and the Walmart Spark Good Grants, are earmarked for critical initiatives. Among these are the opening of a safe house in Conroe, TX, and the development of a trauma-informed community center in Tennessee. These facilities will host the S.U.R.V.I.V.O.R. Program, offering a range of services from mental health therapy to life skills training, aimed at fostering healing and independence.

With plans to assist over 20 new survivors in June, Dying Inside Nonprofit is demonstrating its commitment to not just rescuing individuals from immediate danger but also supporting their journey towards a stable and fulfilling future. The organization's holistic approach underscores the importance of addressing both the physical and emotional needs of survivors, ensuring they have a solid foundation for rebuilding their lives.
