This vehicle is a faithful recreation of one of the most revered racing machines from the 1930s, originally designed for the demanding Mille Miglia and 24 Hours of Le Mans races. With only four original models ever produced, the Alfa Romeo 2900B is among the most sought-after vintage cars in the world.

British classic car enthusiast Stephen Muir embarked on the ambitious project to recreate this legendary machine, recognizing the near impossibility of acquiring an original. Collaborating with the Appenine Car Company and Spydersport of Peterborough, UK, Muir oversaw the creation of a vehicle that meticulously replicates every detail of the 1938 original. The recreation boasts a hand-formed aluminum body and a sophisticated Weslake-designed straight-eight engine, crafted by combining two Alfa Romeo Alfetta four-cylinder engines. This 3.9-liter engine, equipped with quad Weber 40DCOE carburetors, not only delivers impressive performance but also stays true to the historical authenticity of the original.
